Men of MLC Cricket Dinner with Bruce Yardley
The Men of MLC (MOMLC) have rallied together once more to put on their final event for 2009, a Dad’s Only Cricket Dinner. Our guest speaker will be Bruce Yardley, one of Australia’s best spin bowlers. MOMLC hopes to match the success of the Parents’ Association Ball earlier this year, by holding a very different and special wine auction. Thursday 26 November - 7pm for a sit down, two course meal, at the Nedlands Golf Club. Tickets $100 per person – (inc. $50 tax deductible donation).
Our guest speaker will be Bruce Yardley, one of the two best spin bowlers Australian cricket has produced. Bruce played 33 tests for Australia between 1978 and 1983 and since retiring, Bruce has been involved with coaching, commentating for radio and television. An entertaining speaker, Bruce Yardley excites audiences with his witty dialogue and stories of amusing incidents and great moments of the game.
MOMLC hopes to match the success of the Parents’ Association Ball earlier this year, by holding a very different and special wine auction. We ask that as part of the event proceedings, each dad donates a bottle of wine (preferable before the event via Junior or Senior School reception). Steve Parry, from Swanbourne Cellars will be organising our donated wines into lots e.g. Margaret River whites, French champagne, Grange range etc which will then be put up for auction. We aim impress and raise great funds, however the success of this auction depends entirely on our community’s generosity.

Years K-3 - Champagne
Years 4-6 - White
Years 7-10 - Reds
Years 11- 12 - Dessert Wines

Thursday 26 November - 7pm for a 7.15pm sit down, two course meal.
Nedlands Golf Club, Melvista Ave in Nedlands.
$100 per person – (with a $50 tax deductible donation) – two receipts will be issued
