IC Basketball Club Players
2011 Shooting Clinic
The 2011 IC Basketball Annual Shooting Clinics are open to every registered IC player. It is a new improved format from last year – we focus on small player and big player moves for the older kids.
Experienced players and coaches will teach your child how to shoot correctly with drills they can use at home.
Venue: Boroondara Sports Complex, 271 Belmore Rd, North Balwyn. Courts one and two.
Date: Sunday December 4th, there are three sessions available and we have split the age groups to allow us to tailor the shooting sessions more closely to each specific age group. Sessions will be non-stop and high intensity (times below):
Session One: 1.10pm to 2.20 pm. <Fully booked - beginners now included in session 2 or 3>
Beginners Shooting clinic – girls and boys under 9 to under 11
Under 9 - Learn the basics of shooting on the lower rings. Shooting & layup technique.
Under 11 - Refine the basics of shooting on the higher rings. Shooting range & layups.
Session Two: 2.30pm to 3.40pm. Limited to 35 places only <Now open to beginners too>
Girls Beginners & Intermediate Shooting clinic – girls under 9 to under 16 and over.
Girls U9 - U11 Learn & Refine the basics of shooting. Shooting range & layups.
Girls U12 - U14 Improve your shooting. Big player and small player drills. Shoot off the dribble.
Girls U16+ - Improve your shot. Big player and small player drills. Shoot a better jump shot.
Session Three: 3.50pm to 5.00pm. Limited to 35 places only <Now open to beginners too>
Boys Beginners & Intermediate Shooting clinic – boys under 9 to under 16 and over.
Boys U9 - U11 Learn & Refine the basics of shooting. Shooting range & layups.
Boys U11 - U14 Improve your shooting. Big player and small player drills. Shoot off the dribble.
Boys U16+ - Improve your shot. Big player and small player drills. Shoot a better jump shot.
THE COST: is $5.00 per player, payable by credit card when you book your place online. We have set a nominal fee to help cover costs.
