Three Hens, a Rooster and a Fox... one
enchanted evening.
Follow the character of Fox, a charismatic
natural-born killer
with a conscience who laments being tied to the
cruel laws of nature
and longs for a new self-identity.
He attempts to seduce the Hens of a local henhouse
with sweet music
and rebel angst, all under the beak of an
overprotective Rooster.
Written by award-winning Polish playwright
Slawomir Mrozek - one of
the finest exponents of the Theatre of Absurd and
master of short form,
this parable of today's cannibalistic social order
is at once contemporary and timeless.
