Gifts of the Furies A powerful and beautiful Song Story for citizens in a changing climate - by Glenda Cloughly Previously performed in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney, this is the first Australian artwork to recognise the mythic scale of the global warming crisis.
At Newcastle's Maritime Centre, Lee Wharf, Honeysuckle Precinct Friday May 7th, 7pm; Saturday May 8th, 7pm.
N.B. Please book early as the venue does have limited seats available (really), and it will be an investment in the performance.
A singing workshop (free for Furies audience) will be held on Sunday morning May 9th, for those interested in the People's Chorus for the "Big Furies" production - this will be a larger production incorporating an all local citizen's Chorus, which we would invite all members of our Community to join in and find their voice for our future.
