WHAT: In a glorious bill of Sea Shanty song and inimitable Spooky fare and humour, The Spooky Men of the West bring their prize guest performer, Fred Smith and Grand Spookmeister, Stephen Taberner on the road
Their first combined album, Urban Sea Shanties went on to win last year’s National Film and Sound Archive National Folk Recording Award. It is a collection of thinking man’s drinking songs.
