New Year Eve 1920’s Gatsby Spectacular

With 1920’s swag making a classy comeback, Silk Road, corner of Collins and Market Streets Melbourne, with be hosting the New Years Eve Celebration of the year with a roaring 1920’s mansion style sioree.

Themed The Great Gatsby, The upmarket nightspot is channeling the glory of East Egg as we transform our three levels into the many magnificent rooms of Mr. Jay Gatsby’s Mansion.

In anticipation of Baz Lurhman’s remake of the famous F. Scott Fitzgerald’s story, Silk Road welcomes old and new money alike, to enjoy elegant canapés, full bar and cocktail selection. To complete the celebration, live music of the time and pop-up entertainment will bring the extravagance of the era to life.

With black tie dress a must, and a range of packages that include basic or premium drink selections, there is no doubting that the event will achieve the elegant intimacy that one can only find at a huge party.

The suits will be sharp, the gin will be dry and The Eyes will be on the crowd as we turn the cityspot into a playground for one spectacular night.
