Left Right Think-Tank presents HEELS Conference, one of Australia’s largest youth-led young female empowerment events ever to be run. HEELS is about Helping Educate and Empower Leaders in Society.
The purpose of this conference is to empower, encourage and inspire confidence in young women to become involved, and strive to lead in, the media, government, business and broader community at large.
This conference will bring together established leaders from across government, media and business spheres. There will be several engaging keynote speakers, a leadership and networking workshop and a panel discussion. Speakers will discuss women in power, politics and position, and share their reflections with an audience of young Australians.
Left Right operates four Policy Fellowship programs and enables young people to provide policy recommendations and solutions across four key policy areas: infrastructure, governance, education and economic sustainability. In an Australia first, it is intended that the issues and solutions raised at HEELS will be explored by the Victorian Policy Fellowship in 2014.
