In the late 1970s Brisbane was a conservative backwater – with a thriving punk rock underbelly. Bored teenager Ross Daniels
stumbled into a netherworld of wild gigs, misfits and police violence – all
while staying with his right wing, church-going grandparents.
After last year’s acclaimed The Transposed Man, Ross returns to Melbourne Comedy Festival with Punked – a first-hand account of street riots, feral music and pumpkin scones.
