Community Commitment
How does TryBooking give back to your community?
"I strive to make positive contributions to my community. I believe that thriving local communities are vital to a healthy society. My business philosophy is to use commercial success to foster community well-being." Grant Dunoon, Founder, TryBooking
We make TryBooking affordable for everyone and every budget.
The benefits of our low pricing are obvious - anyone and everyone can afford TryBooking. And that opens up the convenience of online booking to a whole new group of organisations: community organisations that really need the extra support, time and cost savings.
TryBooking is FREE for free events
An important cornerstone of our approach is our Free for Free Events policy. This means that when you run a free event there is absolutely no charge. You may need to collect RSVP's for a party, to compile a guest list or to limit capacity for a concert. For any event, if you do not require us to collect payment for your tickets or registrations, the entire TryBooking service is free!
And there's another way we give back
We have enormous appreciation for the important services charities provide, and so when endorsed TCC charities use the TryBooking service we will donate the booking fee back to the charity. This provides an additional revenue stream for your charity and allows us to positively contribute to the causes that are important to you and your community.
Here are a few of the well known worthy causes to which we've been pleased to provide support:
- The Cancer Council Victoria Ball
- The Oaktree Foundation
- Sids and Kids
- Olivia Newton John Foundation
- The Red Cross
- Carmelites
- Mercy Health
- Animal Aid
- Bush Fire Appeal
- Amy Gillet Foundation
Our Philosophy
Finally, we are founded and staffed by people who are proud members of 'Generation Generosity.' We live by the principles of community involvement, volunteerism, sustainable living and positive contribution. Our founder created TryBooking because he wanted to make it easier for communities of people to gather together.
And that's exactly what TryBooking does.

No more bits of paper floating around the office and getting lost! It has halved the time spent arranging and taking bookings.

WIRE (Women Information Centre)
I used to spend more than 40 hours on the registration process. This year it took about 4 minutes!
