Nelson Central Crank 2026

Ride, have fun and help us raise funds for our school!

Sunday, 8th November 2026,  12pm to 2.00pm

Central Crank is a fun, non competitive bike event for our local community. Bring your bike, get involved and enjoy good old fashioned fun with friends and whānau. Anyone is welcome - from any school, just bring your bike!

The course will wind its way around Nelson Central School, and Year 3 and above get the joy of riding across the road to St Joseph's and wheel their way through their pump track. You can ride as long as you wish between 12-2pm, stop/start, play some games and eat food in between.

Whether your child is a confident cyclist or still finding their wheels, the day is about getting involved, having fun and supporting our school.

Every registration helps us raise funds for school improvements, including upgrading our playground and resources such as sports and classroom equipment.

$10 / Ticket

Preschool riders

If you have a preschool child who would like to join in on a balance bike or scooter, they are welcome to participate.

Please have an adult ride alongside them and help keep them clear of older children who may be riding past, so everyone can enjoy the course safely.

We can't wait to see our community out riding together!
