Konstantin Shamray

Australian based, Russian pianist Konstantin Shamray makes his Tyalgum debut with a stunning program of Rameau, Chopin Nocturne op.27 no1, Chopin Fantasy op.49, Ravel La Valse and Schumann Sonata no.3. Since making history by winning not only First Prize and the People’s Choice Prize in addition to 6 other prizes at the 2008 Sydney International Piano Competition, Konstantin has performed extensively throughout Australia and Internationally.

Bandaluzia Flamenco

Pull up a table and enjoy a platter while ARIA nominated guitarist, Damian Wright leads this energetic ensemble in an evening dedicated to the Spanish art form. Opera in the Caldera

TMF23 Opens with a night at the Opera. Scenes from early Operas by Cavalli and Handel right through to Carlisle Floyd take us on an Opera journey from the 16th to the 20th Century. Greg Massingham and the renowned Opera Dept from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University bring tales of love through the ages to Tyalgum.
