Death Cafe Facilitators Training Course Apr 2023 (SOLD OUT)
At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death in a relaxed atmosphere. The objective is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their lives and be able to face their own death and that of loved ones without fear.

Catherine Ooi hails from substantive experience in the end of life, hospice, and palliative care industry, and has been training Death Café Facilitators for more than 7 years. She is a multidisciplinary consultant that advocates for death positivity and raising death and grief literacy in communities. Her previous roles include Executive Director of Kasih Hospice Foundation, as well as Vice Chairman of the Malaysian Hospice Council. She currently serves on the board of Pure Land Hospice, the Malaysian Hospice Council and is a Palliative Care Fellow and Acumen Fellow.
