This six (6) hour program will provide Registered & Enrolled Nurses working within their scope of practice, with theory and the clinical skills required to competently insert suprapubic (SPC) and male/female indwelling urethral catheters (IDC). Our program attracts 6 CPD hours. Competency testing & protocol guidelines are provided to participants. Workshop handbook & training products supplied. Lunch & carpark is provided. This is a Covid Safe Format of our Workshop due to necessary adherence with Government Covid-19 restrictions as an essential Clinical Health Care Education service. Limited spaces are available to ensure correct spacing requirements are met for infection control. Guidelines must be followed. All Nurses participating in this workshop are expected to have prior knowledge and experience in aseptic technique.*Note: In the absence of workplace guidelines we recommend as part of this competency that participants have at least two supervised changes with an experienced clinician.
