The Community of Inquiry can be used with a purely philosophical focus, or it can be incorporated into one or other of the Learning Areas, where it can help students gain greater insight into such matters as the nature of the discipline, how it constructs knowledge and its ethical implications. This Masterclass will explore using the CoI within the Learning Areas, with a particular emphasis on Science as the exemplar.
