Dreaming Inside Vol. 9 Launch
Join the South Coast Writers Centre at Wollongong Art Gallery for the launch of Dreaming Inside Vol 9.
Anita Heiss launches Dreaming Inside: Voices from Junee Correctional Centre Volume 9, this year’s anthology of writing from Junee Correctional Centre. Auspiced by the South Coast Writers Centre and initiated by Wadi Wadi Elder Aunty Barbara Nicholson, the Ngana Barangarai (Black Wallaby) project that produces the anthology has been running for nine years. Each volume is a glimpse into the lives of First Nations inmates as they describe their culture, feelings and experiences through poetry, prose and song lyrics.
The evening will feature readings from the anthology, and all new and previous volumes of Dreaming Inside will be available for sale on the night.
