Build Resilience & Hope
These four workshops are for you, if you ask yourself:
- What future are we creating for our kids?
- How can I cope with what’s happening in the world?
- Can I make a difference?
- Are there others who feel the same?
What can you expect?
In this course you’ll have a moment to stop and think, reflect and share with others some of your fears and hopes, the times when you feel overwhelmed, and the things you do that you hope will make a difference.
We’ll build a safe and inviting space to discuss and experience what we might ordinarily not share over coffee or at a BBQ. We’ll discover that we can act with courage and care in challenging times.
You’ll have the chance to:
-
Identify what you’re grateful for
-
Work with tough feelings such as grief and anxiety
-
Take a different point of view, connect with each other and the world
-
Name steps that you can take to address challenges.
We hope that taking part in the workshop series will help you build your own resilience and to turn difficult feelings into action with others that builds a better world. Participants in past workshops have found that they are better able to care for themselves, their community and their world. They find new connections with their community.
This workshop series offers a space to move safely through uncomfortable feelings. It is not counselling or a therapy group, and it requires you (at times) to deal with some emotional discomfort.
