Be inspired by the beautiful bush that surrounds TarraWarra Museum of Art in our hands-on Grass, twigs, leaves!: Botanical Monoprinting Children’s Workshops this autumn! Join artist Bronwyn Ward and her artist assistants to make monoprints of grass, twigs, ferns, fronds, and leaves on a tote bag that you can use and wear with pride! Using botanical elements, you will explore a direct printmaking process, creating your very own usable artwork.
Children aged between 6 and 16 years old are invited to take part in this free 60 minute hands-on artist-led workshop.
All materials supplied, including a sustainable cotton tote for printing. Please note that ink used for printing is especially for fabric (and will not wash easily out of clothing). Children do not need to be accompanied by an adult, but parents/guardians will be asked to fill out a Children’s Workshop Health and Safety Form on arrival. Workshop places are strictly limited. This workshop will take place upstairs in the Museum’s Library and is not wheelchair accessible.
