B'nai B'rith Showcase Entry Form 2021
The BBVic Showcase has been a highlight of the Jewish calendar for the past 29 years. An annual event, open to Jewish musicians, the BBVic Showcase provides an opportunity for these musicians to be a part of a process whereby they not only receive feedback from highly accomplished adjudicators but gain valuable performance experience. It also provides the opportunity to compete in an officially recognised Showcase; as similar festivals are held on Shabbat.
BBVic Showcase is open to Primary, Secondary and Tertiary solo musicians aged 8 – 25 across piano, strings, vocal, woodwind, brass, guitar and for the first time, percussion. A further new addition is the 'own composition' section. It is recommended that Entrants have completed Grade 3 AMEB or its equivalent.
Given the ever-evolving COVID-19 environment, the committee has elected to conduct the adjudication process to decide the Section winners via video.
As such, all Entrants will be required to submit their piece/s online. This will include the provision of 2 videos plus the sheet music for each performance piece. Very clear instructions will be provided following receipt of this Entry Form.
Entrants should select their correct age group below and then proceed to provide the details as requested, which includes the Instrument Section/s and the pieces that will be performed.
Entries close soon.
