WAVE Education Event Series - Intersectionality
Intersectionality is a term coined in 1989 by professor Kimberlé Crenshaw to describe how race, class, gender, and other individual characteristics “intersect” with one another and overlap.
In a world where we are working hard to overcome discrimination it is imperative that any DE&I initiative isn’t developed without utilising an intersectional lens. WAVE is delighted to have secure the highly acclaimed Keynote Speaker of the AOG Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Breakfast 2021 – Tasha Broomhall.
