Prototyping Workshop with Make or Break Collective
Join artist collective Make or Break for a cardboard prototyping workshop, where we will work with stories as inspiration for 3D thinking and making. Speculating on possible futures - whether they are hopeful, catastrophic or wildly fantastical - is an important way to work towards the futures we want to create, and to start thinking about how we might arrive there.
No previous experience is necessary, however you will be cutting and shaping cardboard with scissors and blades. This workshop is aimed at adults, but younger people are welcome to attend with a supervising adult. The workshop is free but bookings are essential and there are very limited places, so please let us know in advance if you can no longer attend.
Access info: This workshop takes place in a wheelchair-accessible space, with two spots at an artist-designed table that are accessible for wheelchair users. Seating is on stools and floor cushions, but more supportive seating can be organised on request. There is climate control in the space, so please dress warmly. Please contact us in advance if you would like to discuss access needs.
