Unicare Health, together with Sunrise Medical would like to invite all therapists involved in wheelchair adjustments to join us at this workshop. Feel confident to make minor adjustments to a manual wheelchair and seating in the field, understand how a small adjustment can have significant, positive effects on function and know the difference between imperial and metric. Facilitated by Prithy Sivaraman from the Sunrise Medical Clinical Hub, this workshop will include:
Wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to get involved. If you have your own tools – bring them along. We can make sure you have the right tools for the job! By the end of the session, you will feel confident to make changes to a client’s chair to make them more comfortable. |
This workshop is designed for occupational therapists in the field who are familiar with the Quickie and Breezy range of wheelchairs to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the adjustability of these chairs for their clients and be able to perform them.
