Join Robin Grow writer and lecturer & President, Art Deco & Modernism Society of Australia as he talks on Melbourne’s Art Deco and Modernist Architecture 1930-70. Robin will describe (and show) how the architecture of Melbourne was transformed twice in the 20thC during Pre-war (WWII), when the city became a wonderful centre of Art Deco styling (the first truly international style) and in the post-war period how a further dramatic change occurred – both architecturally and in society in general.
