Calling all budding clarinet, saxophone and double-reed players!
Join us at the Elder Conservatorium, in association with Open Academy, for an afternoon of workshops, ensemble playing, and performance.
This event is specifically designed for players below AMEB Grade 4 level and under the age of 18.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, complimentary audience tickets for the afternoon concert are limited to one audience member per participant.

Afternoon Timetable
1:30 pm Arrive and Check-In // Participants can arrive and check-in.
1:45 pm Sectionals // Working with our guest tutors and conductors, participants will prepare works as part of massed ensembles.
3:15 pm Instrument Demo and Q&A // Our expert conductors will introduce participants to the whole family of reed instruments, before engaging in a Q&A session.
3:45 pm Afternoon Tea // Participants, parents and friends, conductors, and tutors will join together for an informal afternoon tea prior to our concert.
4:00 pm Concert // Parents and friends may join us for a free concert where participants will perform works prepared earlier in the day.
This short concert will also feature demonstrations by our expert conductors and tutors.
