Creative Resilience sessions (SOLD OUT)
McClelland is offering free creative wellbeing support sessions on Wednesdays from August through to October 2021. Book in for one or all of these sessions, and come along to experience our collection and grounds in a new way. In case of lockdown and restrictions, sessions will be held online.
What does the program look like?
This interactive program incorporates a variety of art forms, movement and story together with the inspirational sensory environment of the park and gallery. These playful sessions are designed to create experiences of grounding and connection.
No particular artistic skills are required - just a willingness to join in and try new things. Participation is at your own comfort level, as there is no expectation to ‘perform’.
If you are also interested in accessing individual sessions, please contact us through Trybooking or send an email to education@mcclellandgallery.com
Who is facilitating the program?
The program facilitators are Adrienne Sloan and Nicole Schild, both Master of Creative Arts Therapy students at the University of Melbourne. Adrienne is an experienced actor and teacher of theatre and drama. Nicole is an interdisciplinary artist specialising in dance and movement.
Adrienne and Nicole are committed to the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapy Association Ltd., (ANZACATA) Code of Ethics, confidentiality and standards of practice.
Is it happening onsite or online?
Sessions are hosted online (via the application zoom) during the state lockdown.
Covid-safe procedures are strictly followed with programs hosted onsite. If you’re feeling unwell, please change your booking to another day when you’re well again.
