School holiday guided beach discovery walk

Explore the tide line and learn more about the things you discover.
This is a fun way to learn about the beach environment through a hands-on experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This beach session is suitable for families with children of all ages. Adults and older children will learn so much about our local beach environment, whilst younger children will enjoy exploring the beach.
Please note that children must be accompanied by a guardian and be appropriately supervised at all times.
Spotlight on Coastal Places locations: Largs Bay. Meet in the carpark to the north of the Largs Bay sailing club (on Lady Gowrie Drive, opposite Wigley Street). Please meet 15 minutes before the session starts.
Bring your own hats, sunscreen, water bottle and snacks.
We recommend you wear appropriate footwear and clothing to safely explore the beach environment.
We will postpone or cancel the event if the weather forecast is over 36 Deg C. We will notify you of this via email and sms.
Numbers are limited, so please let us know if you can no longer make it.
Please note that due to COVID restrictions the following will apply:
- numbers are limited and everyone MUST book to attend
- please check in on arrival
- participant groups are required to maintain social distancing of 1.5m
- masks are recommended if you are unable to physically distance
- please stay away if you are unwell
- there will be no shared food or drink - please BYO drink bottle and supplies

Please note that attendee information may be used for follow up evaluation, in order to assess the longer term impacts of our events. Follow up contact may be made (in the form of a survey) but participation in any evaluation is optional.
