Mindfulness as a Superpower for Legal Practitioners
This is an evidence-based program designed for the benefit of all legal practitioners.
Dr Rebecca Chabot points out that now more than ever is a vital time to be supporting the development of wellbeing as anxiety, uncertainty and stress in our ever-changing world is increasing. In Rebecca’s mindfulness workshops, she provides tips on how mindfulness can help you to improve your health, and particularly to reduce your stress levels you face every day in a clearer, calmer and more focused manner.
Rebecca introduces and explains the concept of mindfulness and offers the latest research around the benefits of the practice such as decreasing anxiety and depression and improving sleep. She then instructs on several different practises of mindfulness such as meditation and breathing, and offers tips and guidance on how and when to practice during the day to ensure success.
Practitioners gain some very practical techniques and strategies to cope with stress, emotional turmoil and change. This will help you to feel empowered to take action to increase your mental health and fitness. Mental fitness requires practice in the same way that physical fitness does, and Rebecca sees amazing results with people who embrace the practice of improving mental health (which can be as simple as practising a few minutes a day). The feedback for this workshop has been outstanding from surveys collected, with data showing that participants felt 4.9/5 stars better afterwards, and 100% of respondents recommend Rebecca’s workshops for ongoing wellness and mindfulness support, demonstrating the value of this one hour workshop.
