What to do with your DNA test & understanding your matches
About
You’ve “done” your DNA. What does having a match with someone mean? What is the significance of the number of centimorgans you share with someone? What do you do next?
This talk will very briefly look at Y-DNA and mt-DNA matches but concentrate on autosomal DNA. We will look at the various features and tools provided by the testing companies as well as other methods and tools you can use to establish your relationship with someone with whom you match.
It is aimed at those who are just starting out on their DNA journey and want to learn what is available and what can be done with these tools and methods without going into specific details.
