ADFAS Brisbane - Blooming Marvels: The Global Art History
This lecture presented by Dr Sam Bowker travels the world in search of exquisite and compelling flowers. Along the way there will be drugs, erotica, jail, science, secret messages, economics, war, extinction and Instagram. Maybe we’ll also discuss Monet’s garden and Van Gogh’s sunflowers, but this is not going to be your usual walk in the park.
Dr Sam Bowker is the Senior Lecturer in Art History and Visual Culture at Charles Sturt University.
