This is a free introductory session to provide information about preparing for your registration exam. It will include an overview of: the Institute’s Practice of Architecture Learning Series (PALS), the EMAGN group and how they assist graduates and emerging architects, and information from the Architect’s Registration Board of Victoria (ARBV) about the registration process.
Bruce Allen, chief examiner for the ARBV and founder of Bruce Allen Architect Pty Ltd, will provide an explanation of the examination process and advice about preparing for and sitting the exam.
Thom McKenzie, chair of EmAGN VIC (Emerging Architects + Graduates Network) and founder of Thomas Winwood Architecture, will explain who EmAGN are and how they can play a role in assisting graduates and emerging architects into the Architectural profession. Jodie Mitchell, PALS Victorian Coordinator, will explain the PALS program including Acumen (the Institute’s online data base of knowledge), PALS online video modules, and the Victorian chapter’s face to face tutorial sessions (which includes guest architects, lawyers and industry professionals).
This is a free event but bookings are essential as space is limited.
