Equal Futures Project Keynote Series
The Equal Futures Project hosts inspirational speakers aligned to improving the world, making our communities more equitable and inclusive.
We are delighted to announce Grace Tame as the inaugural speaker in our Keynote Series.
Grace is an inspiring young Australian who has spent the last 10 years turning her traumatic experience into advocacy for survivors of child sexual assault and a leader of positive change. Her advocacy and courage are widely recognised and in 2021 she was named Australian of the Year.
Her focus is now on enabling survivors to tell their stories without shame, educating the public around the process and lasting effects of grooming, and working with policy and decision-makers to ensure we have a federal system that supports the survivors, not just perpetrators.
Later this year she will release "The Ninth Life of a Diamond Miner". As with all her work, the book offers a constructive and optimistic vision for a better future for all of us.
