Content Warning: discussion of suicide and suicide attempts.Join Lifeline Tasmania as part of Mental Health Week for the film screening of 'The S Word' : "A suicide attempt survivor is on a mission to find fellow survivors and document their stories of unguarded courage, insight and humor. She discovers a national community rising to transform personal struggles into action". Afterwards there will be a Q&A and you can learn about local mental health services in Tasmania and how we can all create better Awareness, Belonging and Connection in our community to improve our own mental health and prevent suicide.
Please Note: there will be support staff to help anyone who may feel distressed during or after the screening. While the aim of the film is to create a sense of hope and understanding, the content of the film may be distressing for some viewers.
