In the world architecture, we often hear the expression 'Adamesque' or 'in the Adam style' which refers to the 18th-century neoclassical and influential style of interior design and architecture, as practised by Scottish architect William Adam and his talented sons, Robert (1728–1792) , James (1732–1794) and John Adam (1721–1792).
