Literary Landscapes: Southerly Panel
Southerly Literary Magazine is Australia's oldest continuous literary journal. This event will focus on Southerly's past and present, featuring three writers who have been involved in the journal's ongoing success. Elizabeth McMahon (former Southerly editor) will chair a discussion between K. A. Ren Wyld (guest co-editor of the current Southerly issue) and Jasmin McGaughey (contributor to current issue) to open a dialogue on the current issue, as well as the value of writers and scholars of literature in Australia's current literary landscape.
This talk is the final event of the Literary Landscapes series developed in collaboration with the UNSW Literary Provocations Hub, aiming to open dynamic social spaces literary engagement and learning.
