The regional and rural chapter meets on the 4th Saturday of the month.
This chapter is intended for members living in regional and rural areas and members who do not have access to any other chapter locations.
Agenda: “Sentio Framework - a perception-led approach to emotional awareness"
Session Outline:
What if the most useful thing a counsellor can do isn't intervene faster, but notice sooner? This session introduces the Sentio Framework as a perception-led approach to emotional awareness that reshapes how and when we act. Participants will explore the framework's four core principles, walk through the 5-Stage Engagement Model with real practice examples, and examine its particular relevance to regional, rural, and remote work. The session ends with a hands-on breakout activity, putting the model into practice together.
Presenter Bio:
Nidhi Trivedi is the Founder and CEO of Nidhi Perception, a Registered Counsellor, and the creator of the Sentio Framework and the Axis Model of Consciousness. She holds UN DGC Special Accreditation as a Civil Society Representative and serves as International Advisor to CINORG, supporting an active advisory partnership across 74 informal settlements in Sierra Leone, including Kroo Bay. She is the author of “The Lives Inside Our Head” (2022), a Finalist for the 2026 Counsellor of the Year at the Australian Allied Health Awards and has served as Session Chair at the 3rd World Congress on Advances in Mental Health & Psychiatry.
