The Playhouse - by Nhulunbuy Christian College (SOLD OUT)

Step into a world of adventure, comedy and Shakespearean chaos as the talented drama students from Nhulunbuy Christian School present The Playhouse by Kristen Doherty, proudly hosted by Gove Arts Theatre.

When young students on a school excursion to Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre accidentally travel back to 1599, they find themselves caught up in the world of actors, nobles, groundlings and the very first production of As You Like It. Filled with humour, action, fantasy and theatrical magic, The Playhouse is a fast-paced ensemble performance showcasing the creativity and energy of our local young performers.

Doors open at 5:30pm for a 6pm start

Run time is approx 45 mins

Snack bar will be open with drinks and treats available for purchase.
