🌳 National Tree Planting Day 2026 🌿
We’ve been invited by the Cardinia Environmental Coalition (CEC) to join them for a hands-on community event making a real difference to our local environment!
On Sunday 26 July 2026, come along and help us plant trees, restore green spaces, and build a healthier future for our community. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a first-time planter, this is a fantastic way to get outdoors, get involved, and give back.
👧🧒 Youth participation:
This event is open to Cub and Scout-aged youth only.
Joeys will have a separate planting day organised by the Joey leaders at a later date.
🕙 Time: 10:00am – 12:30pm (planting wraps up by 12:30pm)
📍 Meeting Point: Deep Creek Playground, 62 Cameron Way, Pakenham
🌱 What to bring:
Weather-appropriate clothing (be ready for outdoor conditions!)
Gardening gloves
🍔 Bonus!
After all your hard work, CEC will be firing up the BBQ lunch – a great chance to relax, refuel, and connect with others in the community.
