Location
About
Steve Towson will be joined by The Conscripts to celebrate the 21st anniversary of his album "Shah Mat". This will be the first Brisbane show of Towson's in over a decade with his backing band.
Also joining the lineup are the amazing
Ketamine Cowboys,
King Kongo,
and
Kimbo Dawson
For this anniversary tour, Steve Towson has conscripted the talents of Justin Bishop and Joel Wilson. They'll be travelling the east coast to knock out a selection of classics from the album.
Spanning rock, punk, post-punk, folk and more, Dwarf Zine pronounced in 2006 that Shah Mat is "the sort of music Nick Cave might make if someone bashed him over the head with a shovel and told him come the hell back down to Earth."
This show is an 18+ gig at Brisbane's essential live music venue, PFR Lounge.
