About
Join us for a collaborative experience with the Heyfield Adventure Hub, Renew & Nourish and the Heyfield Community Resource Centre for a guided Forest Bathing Walk led by Forest Therapy Practitioner, Sue Stranger. This event is supported and promoted by the Gippy Girls Can Campaign to encourage women and girls in Gippsland to get active during the month of September - Let's celebrate women participating in physical activity together!
During this 2-hour guided experience, guests will enjoy a gentle walk through the Heyfield Wetlands, where Sue will offer a series of mindful invitations designed to awaken the senses, reduce stress and foster a deeper connection with nature. Following the walk, guests will gather for a delicious morning tea in the Heyfield Wetlands Information Centre.
Slow down, breathe deeply and immerse yourself in the calming presence and rhythm of nature. Through guided mindful presence practices, you are invited to gently awaken your senses, unwind from the busyness of everyday life, and deepen your human-nature connection as our natural world reveals its beauty and wisdom.
No experience is necessary - simply bring your curiosity, comfortable walking shoes and an open heart.
This event is suitable for women of all ages, abilities and is a wheelchair accessible event.
