Meet at: 10:30 am near the Junction of Grand Drive and Dickens Drive, west side of the park. Continue to the meeting point past the Rotunda. I suggest we all drive as public transport drop-off points are a long way from our meeting point. Maybe people can car share to get to this walk. The Grand Drive circuit is 3.6 kms. However, I propose to walk only one segment. Starting at the junction of Grand Drive and Dickens Drive, then along to Parkes Drive, heading east to the café. Have some refreshments and return to our cars along the pathways.
The fit walkers can complete the circuit, through the parklands across to Dickens Drive and continue to their cars. Please note this is across the grasslands and there is no formed pathway along Dickens Drive. For a really long walk continue along Parkes Drive to Dickens Drive then to the Grand Drive and return to their cars.
