Korowa's STEM Racing – Primary Program is a hands-on co-curricular opportunity for Year 6 students with an interest in STEM, design and engineering. Students will be introduced to the world of STEM Racing and learn how to use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create their own digital racing car. Along the way, they will develop valuable skills in creativity, problem-solving, teamwork and design thinking while gaining insight into real-world engineering practices.
The program will run from 3.30pm to 5pm on Tuesday's throughout Term 3 and into the first half of Term 4, with sessions taking place on Level 1 of the Cripps Building at Korowa.
Places are strictly limited due to workshop capacity to 20 students. Students are accepted into the program on a first come, first served basis, through completion of this registration form. The cost for this program is $75 per student, collected through this registration form.
The first session will take place on Tuesday 4 August, with weekly sessions concluding on Tuesday 10 November.
