Have you ever wanted to learn about leather work? Artist Heidi Fabian is delighted to visit Pinnaroo to share her traditional leatherworking skills.
At this workshop participants will receive step-by-step instruction and guidance to create a handcrafted leather belt, with opportunities for personalisation through their choice of materials and hardware. Participants leave not only with a finished product but also with an appreciation for craftsmanship, quality materials, and the satisfaction of making something themselves.
Cost only $130 per person

About the artist: Originally a dairy farmer from Maitland, NSW, Heidi transitioned into jewellery making following dairy deregulation. Along the way, she maintained a lifelong passion for sewing, leatherwork, and creating practical items by hand. That passion ultimately led to the establishment of Silver & Leather Co in 2020. In an era of disposable consumer goods, Heidi believes there is genuine value in learning traditional skills and creating something by hand.
