Are You Ready for World Scout Day?
On 1 August we are going to celebrate World Scout Day by wearing our uniform and showing our Scouting spirit and celebrating by going for a hike in the Dandenong ranges.
We will be meeting at the 9am at the Grants Picnic Ground carpark, and heading off for an approximately 6km walk through the national park.
The trail is along formed paths, it is a little wet in some spots so we recommend appropriate footwear for the distance and conditions.
We are planning on having a small BBQ for a snag or two afterwards so if there are any parents/helpers (at least2!) that could help with the cooking while awaiting our return that would be awesome, for any others that want to join in with the Joeys and come for an adventure, you are more than welcome!
If you are planning a drop-and-run, we ask that you be back by 11.15am for pickup, as we should be back around then! (might be a little later depending on the group size and little legs needing more stops)
We are planning on starting the hike 9:15am Sharp.
