Civic Kindergarten is a registered not-for-profit, sessional kindergarten in Middle Park, Victoria, operating since 1956.
In 2022 our kindergarten began offering the ‘free kindergarten’ program initiative introduced by the state government. Free kindergarten is beneficial for families to allow them to attend kindergarten free of charge, however in the absence of collecting fees from families, our kindergarten’s financial position has sadly been negatively impacted. Our kindergarten now relies solely on fundraising to fund vital resources such as program resources for the children, stationery, utilities, rates, equipment and maintenance.
We are grateful to have the opportunity to raise funds at the Bunnings BBQ sausage sizzle in Port Melbourne on Sunday 20 September. If you are unable to attend to buy a sausage, you can contribute by buying a "virtual sausage" or make a donation to go towards the cost price of the sausages, bread etc.
