Cape Palmerston National Park - Marine Debris Clean-Up

This is more than just a clean-up - its a chance to make a real impact, connect with like minded people and help protect one of our region's most stunning natural areas. Lets work together to keep our beaches beautiful and our marine life safe.
With support from Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and the Yuwi Rangers, we're targeting the marine debris hot spots - but we cant do it alone.
Are you keen to get involved? You will need a 4WD vehicle for beach driving.
When: Meet at the beach access at the end of Cape Palmerston Road at 8.45am (for a 9.00am start); Wrap-up by 1.00pm.
What to bring: Sun smart clothing, closed-in shoes, water bottle
What we provide: Gloves, bags, drinking water and catering
What you need to know:
There is limited phone reception (UHF radio welcome)
No close amenities - we will have a shovel, toilet paper and hand sanitiser available, if needed.

Registration is essential by 18th August. Please advise of # people, # vehicles, dietary requirements.
