NAVIGATING THE MANOSPHERE
Presented by The Man Cave
We are delighted to present the next seminar in our Mentone Stories series that is designed for and by our parents, covering a range of topics to help families support our young people to navigate and thrive in today's world.
Presented by The Man Cave, Australia's leading preventative mental health charity for boys and young men, this keynote is designed to help parents, carers and trusted other adults better understand one of the biggest influences shaping young men today.
During this session you'll learn:
- What the manosphere is (and isn't)
- Why this content appeals to some boys and young men
- Practical strategies for having open, non-judgemental conversations about online content
- How to respond if a young person is already being influenced
- What boys need from the trusted adults around them to build healthy identities and relationships
