A number of us recently connected at the ASSBI Conference in New Zealand and came away inspired by the idea of creating a stronger community of practice for clinicians working in community adult acquired brain injury (ABI). We have birthed the idea of ABI CONNECT (Collaborative Outcomes Network for Neurological Experience, Care and Translation)
Working in this space is incredibly rewarding, but it can also be challenging and, at times, isolating. We recognised the value of having a forum where clinicians from all disciplines can come together to share ideas, discuss challenges, celebrate successes, learn from one another, and build meaningful professional connections.
We would like to invite you to join us for an initial gathering to explore what this community of practice could look like and how it might best support each other working in the community and our clients with ABI.
