Overview
Practical hands-on training day for qualified healthcare professionals aiming to use rTMS in their practice.
Healthcare professionals are invited to complete Neurocare’s RANZCP‑endorsed rTMS training program (https://www.neurocaregroup.com/en-au/rtms-professional-training), delivered in two parts: an online theoretical component (Part 1) followed by an in‑person practical workshop (Part 2). This combined training provides the full theoretical and hands‑on experience required for clinical rTMS practice and certification.
About this Training
This practical, in‑person workshop provides clinicians with supervised, hands‑on experience using TMS technologies in line with evidence‑based protocols. Participants work in small groups to practice coil placement, stimulation procedures, system settings, and safety principles.
This training is open only to qualified healthcare professionals, including GPs, Psychiatrists, and Nursing staff.
What You Will Learn

Preparing the patient and marking the DLPFC
Marking the SMA
Determining the Motor Threshold
Coil placement over right DLPFC
Coil placement over left DLPFC
Coil placement over SMA
Safety considerations in rTMS
