About
Come join a hands-on workshop where you’ll be making a one-of-a-kind pair of sandals!
In this workshop you’ll be making a personalised pair of sandals. With an entire warehouse of leather at your disposal at Leffler Leffler, the hardest part is going to be deciding which to pick! These sandals feature a comfortable moulded cork footbed and buckled straps.
With our guidance you’ll be designing and assembling your uppers, before lasting and attaching soles. This is a great introduction to the fundamental techniques involved in shoemaking. Beginners are very welcome, no experience is necessary.
You'll leave with not only a unique pair of handmade sandals, but also the confidence and skills to continue in your own time … Sandal kits and supplies are available from Leffler Leather.
Your tutor will be Lou Clifton of 'Shoe School'. She has run shoemaking workshops in NZ and Australia for over a decade, and has trained in Japan and the US.
Available in sizes 37-46.
