1-day Intro to Tooling & Dyeing

On this workshop you'll be creating basic belt or pouch!
You will explore foundational skills of traditional leathercraft as you hand-craft your very own project to walk away with. The techniques involved are very easy to grasp and a range of skills can be mastered in one day.
Skills include:
- A basic understanding of leather
- Stamping, Carving, Embossing
- Hand-stitching
- Bevelling and Burnishing edges
- Colouring and Sealing
- Setting Rivets and Press-studs
Plus a variety of modern knowledge and techniques that can add another dimension to your projects!
This workshop will set you up with the knowledge and skills to continue your endeavours in your own home. You just need to bring along your inquisitive self and maybe a notebook to jot down some of the finer details.
Classes are held 9-2.30pm. Doors at 8:45am.
Free onsite parking.
Classes are limited to x10 students.
Tea, coffee and light refreshments are provided. We have a fridge and a kettle. Bring your own luch or you can purchase a delicious banh mi or rice paper rolls (GF) on the day for $10.
