About

Create your own phone holder or knife pouch!

You'll decorate the leather using Aram's huge collection of stamps, then use traditional wet-molding and double-cordovan lacing techniques to assemble the phone holder. All participants will take home a finished pouch to fit a smartphone.

You will explore foundational skills of traditional leathercraft as you hand-craft your very own project. The techniques involved are very easy to grasp and a range of skills can be mastered in one day.

Skills include:

  • A basic understanding of leather
  • Stamping, Carving, Embossing
  • Wet-moulding
  • Double-cordovan lacing

Plus a variety of modern knowledge and techniques that can add another dimension to your projects!

This workshop will set you up with the knowledge and skills to continue your endeavours in your own home. You just need to bring along your inquisitive self and maybe a notebook to jot down some of the finer details.

Classes are held 8.30-2pm.
Free onsite parking.
Classes are limited to x10 students.

Tea, coffee and light refreshments are provided. We have a fridge and a kettle. Bring your own luch or you can purchase a delicious banh mi or rice paper rolls (GF) on the day for $10.
